The purpose of  this  meeting  is  to  bring  together scientists centered in and around the Indian Partner group formed between the Max-Planck Institute FKF, Stuttgart and S.N.Bose Centre, Calcutta to present and discuss recent developments, and to plan future collaboration in  the  study  of  electronic structure of emerging materials.   The  meeting is expected to deal with specific material classes like,

 

•  Oxides 

•  Magnetic materials 

•  Superconductors 

However other complex and exotic materials and/or phenomena are not excluded.
