Objective

The aim of this conference is to bring researchers (faculties, post doctorates and graduate students) in contact with various universities/institutes/centres in India with each other and with the faculties and students from the National University of Singapore. Topics to be covered are -

i) Electronic structures and computational materials,
ii) Magnetic and Functional materials
iii) Micro and nano patterning,
iv) Bio-Physics interface,
v) Quantum effects (entanglements, computation etc).

Registration fee is Rs. 500/- for students, Rs. 1,000/- for all else. Accommodation fee is Rs. 1500/- per head. Last date of registration fee is 7th. December, 2008. The amount should be sent as a bank draft to pay "ISF09" at Indian Overseas Bank, Kolkata.
