About the Conference |

The purpose of this meeting is to bring together the experimentalists and theoreticians working in the ever green field of oxide materials. Oxide materials with their multi functional properties have attracted the attention of researchers from very early days. These materials due to intricate interplay of charge, spin and orbital degrees of freedom are capable of producing a range of phenomena, the scope of which is yet to be fully explored or understood. The rapid process of both experimental & theoretical techniques and simultaneously synthesis of newer and newer oxide materials have made this field a site of many activities. We plan to have in our speaker list some of leading experts in the field from outside India as well as within India. We also expect participation from senior Ph.D students and post doctoral fellows working in the field from different universities and Institutes of India.
