It brings us a great pleasure to announce an International conference during 14th -17th November, 2018 on "Exploring the Universe: Near Earth space science to extragalactic astronomy" (EXPUNIV2018), to be organized by the Department of Astrophysics and Cosmology of S. N. Bose National Centre for Basic Sciences, Kolkata, INDIA. The conference will cover all the major topics of the Astronomy, Astrophysics and Space Science starting from near earth to cosmological distance. As such this conference is expected to bring experts from many fields and interdisciplinary discussions would be encouraged. Accordingly, many of the talks are expected to be review type in the respective subject area. If the number of contributed talks are high, we may have parallel sessions as well.

The year 2018 happens to be the 125th birth anniversary of Prof. Sateyndra Nath Bose, the founder of quantum statistics. So this conference is a part of the year long celebration of this anniversary to be organized by S. N. Bose National Centre for Basic Sciences, Kolkata. We hope that this conference will prove a great learning opportunity and an enriching experience for all the participants.

The conference will be held at S. N. Bose National Centre for Basic Sciences, located in Kolkata, the "Intellectual Capital" of India, which is the home or work place of most of the Nobel laureates in India - Rabindranath Tagore, Ronald Ross, C.
