Title
: Structure and stability of nucleic acid double helices by molecular dynamics simulations

Abstract: In this lecture I would like to emphasize importance of consideration of DNA polymer of near infinite length to understand its real properties, such as melting bubble formation leading to cooperative unfolding. I would also discuss features of double helices in different non- coding and functional RNA molecules, which are of very short length. The importance of different capping mechanism in stabilization of these short double helices in RNA would be discussed.
