About Technical Cell

          The Technical Cell looks after all the common equipment facilities of the centre, which are also open to external users on a pay-per-use basis.

These include a range of state-of-the-art facilities for materials preparation and characterization, covering a broad spectrum of research in physics, chemistry, biology, and nanoscience and technology. At present, the major facilities include thin film deposition techniques, electron microscopies, x-ray diffraction and reflectivity, magnetometry, ellipsometry, a range of thermal analyses, light scattering, and spectroscopy.
